AWF Helping Customers
Clean Up
Its May already! The second quarter of the year
has been a testing time for many organisations
and industry.
And while we all make the required adjustments
to keep the wheels turning, we at Australian
Work Force put our heads together to see if we
could come up with some cost saving solutions
for our customers.
Our online database told us we had many
people with professional cleaning experience
and we looked at the going rates for contract
cleaners. And so, with the idea that we provide
the staff while the customer provides the tools,
the customer can make significant savings on
their cleaning expenses.
This has been a magnificent success and we
are happy that we are contributing to the cost
saving initiatives of our customers.
AWF will endeavour to come up with new cost
saving ideas so that we can better serve our
valuable customers.

J.Murray Spangler is not a name that we
immediately recognise. In fact Mr Spangler
invented the vaccuum cleaner or as he called it
'the electric suction cleaner'.
Unable to make a commercial success of this
new device he turned to a local leather goods
maker named W.H.Hoover for some advice.
Hoover knew nothing about electrical aplliances.
Before long there were Hoover factories all over
the world and Mr Spangler was forgotten
completely.

A duck walks into Australian Work Force
and says to the man behind the desk
'Excuse me; I'm looking for a job. Can you
help?'
The man can't believe it and replies 'hold on
minute sir, I'll make some enquiries for you'.
...the man then phones up a showbiz
agency and explains that there's this
amazing talking duck wanting a job and
could the agent find him work in a show
somewhere.
Obviously the agent is excited
and has no problem in finding a show for
the duck.
The man goes back to the duck and says
'Good news sir, I've found you job in show
business'
With this the duck replies 'That's no good,
I'm a plumber'
There's much to do in Melbourne this winter:food, design and film festivals,
interstate football matches, shopping, and indulging yourself in spas, cafes, restaurants and bars
For the Rugby League fans, the Melbourne Storm plays on home turf at Olympic Park in the National Rugby League premiership season.
Lets face it Melbourne is the home of Australian Rules football and there is
nothing like a day out at the MCG to watch the spectacle of the greatest and unique game that we love so much.
Winter is also the ideal time to explore Melbourne's myriad lanes and arcades
for hidden treasures, such as edgy clothes labels, eclectic jewellery and one-off homewares
So while the cold moves in, we are fortunate that our great city has so much to offer in the way of entertainment and things to see and do.
Now if only the Tigers could string a couple of wins together.
